The Chase is Over

(Nashville Assassins: Next Generation #5)

by Toni Aleo

You are cordially invited to the wedding of Shelli Adler and Aiden Brooks…
Shelli has been planning her wedding to Aiden in her scrapbook since she was old enough to wield a glue stick. And now that day has finally arrived. Sure, it’s over the top, but what else would you expect from the firstborn daughter of hockey royalty?
Aiden is along for the ride with Shelli’s grand ideas, just as long as his beloved Stanley Cup gets a position of honor on their big day. Whatever his beautiful bride-to-be wants, he’s going to make sure she gets. Even if he has to do some soul-searching to figure out how to get the job done.
Shelli knows she’s only getting married once, and she’s not throwing away her shot.

Review:

5 Assassins Wedding Stars

The Chase is Over is the fifth book in the Nashville Assassins: Next Generation Series by Toni Aleo. It is the book we have all been waiting for. Shelli and Aiden are getting married. I honestly will never get tired of the Assassins Family and reading their books. This book was no different.

Shelli comes across as a bridezilla to all her family and friends but they don’t get it. They don’t get that she has been planning this wedding since she was a little girl. Everything has to be perfect. Through in a secret that she’s been keeping from Aiden, Well all bets are off!

Aiden is worried about Shelli, he can still see the girl he fell in love with but the stress is showing on her and he doesn’t know what he can do to help.

This is a lovely short read and a look into the biggest Adler wedding of the year. I hgiy enjoyed this read and recommend it, especially if you’re an Assassin’s fan!
