The Daly Dish: 100 Masso Slimming Meals for Everyday
by Gina Daly & Karol Daly
Gina and Karol Daly have always been larger than life, there just isn’t as much of them anymore. Together they’ve lost almost ten stone, and they’ve done it while eating food that looks like it could have come straight from the local takeaway.
Just over a year ago they started sharing their recipes on Instagram and have since garnered over 100,000 followers between them.
The Daly Dish is the first collection of recipes that have made the couple an Instagram sensation. For anyone who wants to eat the food they love, but with slimming tweaks that support weight loss and maintenance, it is packed with delicious and easy-to-recreate meals, proving you can lose weight while still loading your plate!
I’ll let you into a little secret, I do 90% of the cooking in our house. Over the last 10 months though I’ve gotten so bored with it. We’ve had way too many takeaways the last few months and although there is nothing wrong with treating yourself, once a week is probably enough.
Dave asked me to get him a cookbook for Christmas so he could try to cook more. So I went and got him the Daly Dish by Gina Daly and sure listen I’ve decided it’s my new favourite cookbook. I’ve also invested in an Air Fryer
I’ve made a few things in the last week and all tasted amazing. I’m actually a good cook just lack inspiration sometimes. I love that this book has your favourite types of food and made it more slimmer friendly, although I’m not a diet fad type of person and really don’t like diets in general this book just teaches you to substitute certain ingredients to make it slightly better for you and I like this kind of thinking.
The pictures are done beautifully and this to me is one of the most important things when it comes to a cookbook. It has to look and feel good as well as having great recipes. This cookbook in my mind had it all and I would highly recommend buying it or borrowing it from your local library.
