Today on my day off I went and got my Cerival screening done. Some big changes were introduced this year regarding HPV. The nurse in the well woman’s clinic in Tallaght went through it all with me and was so kind and nice.
The last smear I got was three years ago and in that time I’ve had 4 IVF cycles and a miscarriage. Crazy to think this has all happened in three short years.
I can’t stress how important it is to go and get tested, it doesn’t hurt just slightly unfortunately and it could save your life.
At the moment with Covid we need to have self-care but we also need to look after our health.
