The Woman at the Docks

(Grassi Family, #1)

by Jessica Gadziala

You didn’t have to be in the criminal underbelly to understand one fundamental rule: You don’t mess with the mafia.

But what other choice did I have?

* This book has some dark themes but is not a “dark” mafia book.

Review:

4 Grassi Family Stars

The Woman at the Docks is the first book in Jessica Gadziala’s, Grassi Family Series. it can be read as an complete standalone book.

Romy is looking for something in Luca’s families shipping yard. Something or someone that she has no regard for her own life but she is determined she needs to find it.

Luca is a loyal mafia boss, waiting to take over from his father and is dedicated to his family no matter what. “Family over everything”

What happens when these two complete opposites clash into each other? You get an  explosive pair that makes for an un-put-downable book.

The ending caught me by surprise and I never saw it coming. This was an amazing start of this series and look forward to see what comes next.
