The Client (Professionals #8)
by Jessica Gadziala
My job is simple.
I get hired to make men fall in love with me.
Then I cut their legs out from under them.
Fenway Arlington was next on the chopping block.
Playboy billionaire.
Heart-breaker.
Experience chaser.
Known for numerous international scandals,
usually involving a woman.
It should have been easy work.
But I never could have prepared myself for the impossible.
Catching feelings for the client.
Or what would happen when the job was over,
And he found out the truth…
Review:
The Client is the 8th installment in Jessica Gadziala’s “Professionals” series and can be read as a standalone.
Wasp is on a mission one that she did with her best friend but Raven went and fell in love, started a family and left her on her own to continue said mission. She would never be so foolish to fall in love. Famous last words!
Fenway is someone who is always chasing that next high. his high is travelling the world and seeing what trouble he can get into.
Alvy is a breath of fresh and my first non-binary character I’ve read to date. I think Jessica did a great job with her character.
The sexual tension, even from their first meet is of the charts and Ii just wanted to see where their story was going. Yes I read this in one sitting and I’m not ashamed to admit it! This is my new favourite book of the year.
As always Jessica knows how to do one fine epilogue! Highly recommend you read The Client as soon as you can get your hands on it.
