Beauty and the Badge was my first read from Ella Fox, it is the first book in her new series Charlotte’s Cove.
Ashley has the boss from hell but can’t seem to get herself to pack it all in. The push she needs to do this is a gun to the head. That’s its she’s done with LA and is moving to her home in Charlotte’s Cove that was left to her by her grandfather. It’s time to life live her way. She falls into a new job
Tyler Jameson is an alpha male and knows what he wants as soon as he sees Ashley walks into his place of work and realises she is his new receptionist. The chemistry between these two is of the charts but things keep them apart.
The one thing I look for a book is a good host of secondary characters and this book has that in spades!
This was a great read and steamy in all the right places. It loses one star from me because I could guess the twist a mile off but that’s just me!
However this was the perfect read snuggled up on the cough on a rainy winter Sunday!
