A Star is Born

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper take on the third remake of the 1937 film, about a wannabe actress and the aging singer who helps her achieve fame. Judy Garland starred in the 1954 version and Barbra Streisand in 1976 version.

Seasoned musician Jackson Maine (Cooper) discovers — and falls in love with — struggling artist Ally (Lady Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer until Jackson coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally’s career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jackson fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

I’m not used to doing movie reviews in fact this is my first. I’ll keep it short and sweet.

Lady Gaga plays the main lead Ally and She did a bang up job. She was so good in this roll. Her voice of course blew me away.

Jackson is played by Bradly Cooper, he played Jack so well and I was amazed at how good his singing voice was. This was a huge surprise to me as I’ve never seen him in a roll like this before. He also directed this film as well and I was very impressed by this.

I went into this film not really knowing what to expect I’d never seen the previous two films of the same name but heard good things.

There was parts of this film that I literally had goosebumps it was amazing, the music was amazing and the way scenes where lined up to view the emotions on the characters face was really intense at times and made this movie what it was.

Overall a 5 star movie from me and haven’t stopped listening to the soundtrack on Spotify all weekend.
