Captain Marvel was scheduled to release in 2018 but it had to be pushed back by nine months to allow more time for production. The Marvel film, which stars Brie Larson has been a bit of a mystery to fans. Very little information has been given and very little has been leaked. The Movie will hit Ireland cinemas on 8th of March 2019.
Captain Marvel was first referenced at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, which was so exciting to me. Marvel Studios began development on the film as early as 2013 and officially announced it in October 2014, making it the studio’s first female-led superhero film.
Captain Marvel is based on the popular comics by Carol Danvers, set in the mid-1990s, it follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.
