This is a lot darker than previous books from both of these ladies. I would highly recommend reading the Prequel (there is a link below and its free!) It gives the back story into all these hot alpha men that makes some things in this book make sense.

Onyx Blake comes across from the get go a dark brooding man you love to hate. I hated him but then I didn’t! It was powerful, exciting and gritty. I was hooked from the get go and couldn’t put it down. Just when you think you know where this book is going BAM! it takes another lead and oh my god that ending! I don’t want to give anything away so that’s all I’ll say.

I can’t wait for the next book in The Powerhouse series and thank god I wont have long to wait as it should be out soon.
