Whiskey Burning (Iron Fury MC #1)
by Bella Jewel
In the darkness is where I first met him.
Alone at a water fountain, tears rolling down my cheeks.
Ready to give up.
From the shadows, his voice came to me.
Soothing. Comforting. Rough as the blackest night.
I didn’t see him.
I didn’t even know his name.
All I knew was he saved me that night.
He put my back on my feet.
And he kept me on them.
Every single time I needed him, he found a way to come to me.
My stranger of the night.
My dark warrior.
My name is Scarlett. You probably know me.
I’m America’s number one country music star.
I’m also the loneliest girl you’ll ever meet.
He’s as free as a bird. A nomad. Travelling alone.
Nobody to hold him back.
He holds the freedom I pray for every single day.
He shows me that life can be so much more than what I’m living.
When danger comes knocking, he’ll also show me a different world.
A world I never knew existed.
A world that both terrifies and fascinates me.
A world that goes against everything I’ve ever known.
A world of Iron Fury

I was excited to give this new series by Bella a look see and I was not disappointed. These days because of how busy I am in my personal and work life I’m only picking up books that I feel like I’m going to like or from Authors I love. This was in both categories for me.
Whiskey Burning by Bella Jewel is the first book in the Irony Fury MC series. We meet two very lost souls, Scarlett is a country music singer. She’s loved by millions but is so lost and unhappy. Maverick is a member of Iron Fury MC but for the last year his has been a nomad, He has needed time away from his cub while he sorts out his own problems and gets over he own losses.
He comes upon Scarlett by pure accident but all he wants to do is help this sad beautiful woman. Although he comes across as an ass in some of the book, I think its just his way of dealing.
I read this book pretty quickly and it drew me in, I just wanted to know what happens. I love when you come across a book like this. This book ends in a little bit of a cliff hanger but to be honest I liked that. It’s made me very excited to get my hands on the next in the series. I know a lot of people hate this but I feel this is a good way to get people interested and excited for the next book. I’m defiantly excited for it.
