One look at this cover and I was all in. I was really looking forward to getting stuck in but unfortunately it wasn’t as brilliant as I thought it would be. This was a much more grittier and darker then previous Foster books, but still for me it was missing something that I can’t even put my hand on. I couldn’t connect with Crystal, I did Love Bear though.

For fans of Melissa Foster this book will probably be a big win but just not for me.
