Twist (Dive Bar #2) by Kylie Scott
Release Date: 11/04/17
When his younger brother loses interest in online dating, hot, bearded, bartender extraordinaire, Joe Collins, only intends to log into his account and shut it down. Until he reads about her.
Alex Parks is funny, friendly, and pretty much everything he’s been looking for in a woman. And in no time at all they’re emailing up a storm, telling each other their deepest darkest secrets… apart from the one that really matters.
And when it comes to love, serving it straight up works better than with a twist.

5 Dive Bar Stars on Goodreads
As always with Kylie Scott’s book I was hooked from the very first chapter. This was a fun, light hearted and sexy read. It had the right amount of feels for it to really hit the heart stings but also a load of Laugh out Load moments as well.
Alex rocks up to her online “Friends” birthday after months of emailing back and forth, getting to know each other really well to find it was all a lie. Joe had been using his brother’s online account to try get Eric to settle down. He never thought he’d find a lady like Alex and by the time he’d felt a connection with Alex he felt it was too late to come clean. She’s never fall for someone like him.
“What if it all goes wrong?”
“Then you go back to your old life in Seattle and forget about me.”
“I highly doubt that will work.”
… “Do you want me to leave?” he asked.
“No.”
Yes this was a brilliantly funny read and with all Kylie’s books it was a 5 star for me and highly recommend picking it up. I can’t wait for the next in the series.
I loved this book too! I found Kylie Scott via her Stage Dive books (which are also a must read), and haven’t looked back. I loved that this book could be a stand alone read, or read as part of the existing series- certainly a satisfying novel to curl up and read with a glass of wine!

You liked this one more than I did. I thought it was good, but I wanted a little more from it. I am interested in reading the next book, though. Great review!

Ah that’s a pity luv. Eric’s book does sound like it’s going to be brill. I just don’t understand how it’s not released till next year. I suppose I’m spoiled by a lot of the indie authors a ideas that release 2 or 3 books a year.
