Wow just wow, I went into this book not really knowing what to expect. I’ve never read any of Ilsa Madden-Mills books before this one.
Sunny Blaine has survived some really bad things in her past she has a problem with trusting men as she’s been burned before. Not just men but men who play sports.
Max Kent is close to having everything he’s ever wanted. He’s smart enough to be in pre-med. He’s also a crazy talented first quarterback and rumoured to be an NFL draft pick and Heisman nominee. Max has gotten himself in a little trouble with his temper but kind hearted and sweet Sunny can help him out.
Despite Sunny’s no dating jocks rule and Max’s determination to have no distractions, they know they can help each other out. They become good friends and way too comfortable pretending to be a couple which leads them down a path they never expected.

I love this story. Max and Sunny’s chemistry will melt your heart and you can’t help but root for them. Fake Fiancée is a must read and I highly recommend picking it up.
