4 Intriguing Stars on Goodreads

Read from January 18 to 19, 2017

I was recommended to read this book by a Facebook book group I’m in. I’m not gonna lie it was not what I was expecting.

Sidney is this lonely woman who has been severely abused by her mother. When her mother unexpectedly dies and she is left to fend for herself and really to start her life afresh. She seems to fall on her feet and get a job and a place to live very easily. This was a little of putting for me. She then meets a man and if I’m being honest falls very fast in love with him.

There is twists and turns in this book, although it’s marked as a dark romance I wouldn’t really agree with this. Yes at times there was some dark moments but not to warrant being classed as a dark romance. The writing style was very immature and annoyed me at times, but this story was intriguing and I really wanted to know what happened in the end. I’m glad I did, It turned out t be such a nice story.
