Top 5 Sunday: New Years Resolutions

Today is my first Top 5 Sunday. This is one of the new things I’m going to be doing on my blog in the future. I will try do it ever week. But you know yourself life can get in the way! I’m going to be doing my Top 5 new year resolutions! Ek 5 of them I know but sure….

Number 1

Blog more then just books.

When is started blogging I really wanted to do books and lifestyle but I thought it would be to much so I just went with what I loved and knew and that was books! But as the year went on I kept thinking.. Hmmm I’d really liked to blog about that. Who’s to say that you can’t blog about more then one subject matter within a blog certainty not me! So yeah this is what I’m hoping to do this year is to blog more about things I want to an of course books will be in there as well!

Number 2

Write the positive down.

Well this is a personal one. I’ve a jar and loads of post-it nots and myself and the hubster are going to write down the positive and good things that happen to us on a day to day, week to week basis. We have some big things coming about this year and I think this is a great way to stay positive.

Number 3

Be a more healthy me.

This is to get more healthy. I hate diets, even the word gives me thee shivers. But I’ve joined an Irish Slimming Group called Waist-a-Weigh. Its all about being healthy and eating a certain way. Don’t worry I wont be blogging loads of weight things or food things! That’s annoying, I know! I’ve also bought a soup maker and I’m going to make loads of yummy soup.

Number 4

Utilize my time better.

I waste so much time. I have so much to do at times and I try to get everything done within a very short amount of time. I read somewhere one that you should number the things you need to do, in number of importance and start from the top. You should only put 5 things on this list and when these things are done go back to your list and cross them all off and then start another list. If we have to much going on and I know this very experience we’re not going to get things done. I myself just stress and start a load of things and maybe finish half. Its very frustrating! I want to get more done in 2017.

Number 5

Being good to myself.

Yeah I know this sounds a little off. I don’t know about you, but I give myself a very hard time. I can really get myself down from thinking silly things like,  “I didn’t do that right!” or “That wasn’t good enough!” So in 2017 I’m going to try to cut this out and be more good to myself. I think everyone should do this.
