Managed (VIP #2) by Kristen Callihan
Release Date: 14/11/16
It started off as a battle of wits. Me: the ordinary girl with a big mouth against Him: the sexy bastard with a big…ego.
I thought I’d hit the jackpot when I was upgraded to first class on my flight to London.
That is until HE sat next to me. Gabriel Scott: handsome as sin, cold as ice. Nothing and no one gets to him. Ever. He’s a legend in his own right, the manager of the biggest rock band in the world, and an arrogant ass who looks down his nose at me.
I thought I’d give him hell for one, long flight. I didn’t expect to like him. I didn’t expect to want him. But the biggest surprise? He wants me too. Only in a way I didn’t see coming.
If I accept his proposal, I leave myself open to falling for the one man I can’t manage. But I’m tempted to say yes. Because the real man beneath those perfect suits and that cool façade just might be the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And I just might be the only one who can melt the ice around his heart.
Let the battle begin…

Review:
5 Chatty Girl Stars on Goodreads, Read from November 15 to 16, 2016
A surprising new find for me. I’ve never read any of Kristen Callihan’s books before this would be my first. I was so surprised. I loved it and I can’t wait to get more of her books on my kindle.
“We’re both experts at hiding our true selves behind a public mask. I make jokes and smile. He plays the robot.”
Managed the second book of the series VIP that follows a band called “Kill John” You don’t have to read the first in the series to get into this book though. I didn’t. Both Gabriel and Sophie are very likable and you just can’t help yourself feel like you want them to have their happy ever after. it had me melted from the first chapter with the hotness of it all!
“I didn’t have a home until she came into my life. She gave me one without hesitation as if she’s been waiting for me all this time, knowing I was meant to be hers. I touch her cheek just to remind myself she’s real.”

I love her books, but I have had trouble getting through the first one in this series. I might have to skip it and go to this one instead.

I was going to go back and read it. Is it not worth doing?

No, it’s good but I got to the part where the H and h are going to split up and I didn’t want them to! I know love will conquer all in the end, but I hate angst. I’ve picked it back up again and will finish it before I read Managed.

I might give it a go. I’ve so much to read right now though so it might be awhile.

I picked it up again. It got better and didn’t go in the direction I thought it was going. 🙂
