Dark Needs (The Dark Light of Day, #1.5) by T.M. Frazier

Dark Needs (The Dark Light of Day, #1.5)  by T.M. Frazier

Release Date: 02/02/15

“A revenge kill is the best kind of kill. But a revenge kill for your family, with your woman’s permission?
That’s borderline erotic.”- Jake, The Dark Light of Day.

Jake has come back home to Abby after violently disposing of the man who almost destroyed his family. With blood literally still on his hands, the only thing on Jake’s mind is making up for lost time with the woman he loves.

Dark Needs is a companion novella to The Dark Light of Day and won’t make much sense unless you are already familiar with Abby and Jake’s story in The Dark Light of Day..

5 Dark Needs stars on Goodreads, Read on May 29, 2016

Dark Needs is a short novella to give us the rest of Abby and Jake’s story. Whatever I felt was missing from
“The dark Light of Day” I found it in this novella. I loved it.

“Over the past year, my life seemed like a dream. A dream someone like me was unworthy of even having. Every day of my life was a gift I knew I didn’t deserve but selfishly accepted anyway.”-Jake.

The Dark Light of Day (The Dark Light of Day #1) by T.M. Frazier

Release Date: 13/01/14

Abby has been through hell and has survived one of the most brutal childhoods imaginable… barely.

To the outside world she is just a loner with an attitude.

When her grandmother dies in a tragic explosion, Abby is left with questions-and nothing else.

Homeless, sleeping in a junkyard, and on the run from a system that has failed her over and over again, she meets Jake, a tattooed blue-eyed biker with secrets that rival her own.

Two broken souls that can’t be healed. They can’t be saved.

Abby & Jake have to decide if they can accept the darkness not only within one another, but within themselves.

If they can accept each other for who they really are, they might be able to learn that love isn’t always found in the light.

Caution: This is not your typical romance. The story of Abby & Jake contains disturbing situations, graphic violence, sex, strong language, drug use, and all types of abuse.

5 dangerously Dark Stars on Goodreads, Read from May 26 to 27, 2016

I came across T.M. Frazier the start of this year and I really don’t know how it wasn’t sooner! She is an amazing writer and her stories are amazing.

“Why do you carry a gun?”
“I’ve answered this one for you before. Because there are some dangerous people out there.”
“Yeah. But you’ve never said if you were one of them or not.”
“What if I am? … Would it matter?”

This was not your typical romance. This was a dark, gritty, with a lot of twisted involved. However even with all of these things it was still beautiful and heartwarming at times!

“I fell asleep that night in the arms of a killer. I’d never slept better.”

Abby and Jake are both broken but they work together. this was such a great original story and I loved it so much!

“I loved all of him, the good and the bad, the light and the dark.”

4 “It’s Hammer Time” stars on Goodreads, Read from May 18 to 22, 2016

Another great addition to this already sexy MC series!

I loved the fact that Des gave as good as she got and never backed downed, no matter what! I loved the interaction between the both of them, it was super charged and funny to booth.

A few questions left unanswered and the ending was a little rushed. But overall I really enjoyed Desirae and Hammer’s story.

Looking forward to Coal’s book…while reading Hammer, all I could think was about was what was up with him not liking Woman touching him! Very strange but intriguing.

Bounty (Colorado Mountain, #7)

Bounty (Colorado Mountain #7) by Kristen Ashley

Release Date: 18/04/16

Justice Lonesome has enjoyed a life of bounty.

Even so, she’s inherited the curse of the Lonesome. A poet’s soul. Which means she’s still searching for something. Searching for peace. Searching for the less…that’s more.

And when the foundation of her life is pulled out from under her, grieving, she goes to the mountains to find her oasis. She hits Carnal, Colorado and decides to stay.

Deke Hightower lost everything at the age of two. He lost it again at fifteen. His life has not been about bounty. It’s been about learning to live with less, because there’s no way to get more.

Deke’s also watched all his friends go down to the women who gave them what they needed. He wants that for himself. But he knows that search isn’t going to be easy because he’s a rider. His home is the road. That’s the only place he can breathe. And the woman who takes her place at his side has to do it sitting on the back of his bike.

When Deke meets Justice, he knows she’s not that woman. She’s cute. She’s sweet. And she’s into him, but she’s got it all and Deke knows he won’t fit into that. So he holds her at arm’s length. Establishes boundaries. And Justice will take it because she wants Deke any way he’ll let her have him.

But when Justice finds herself a pawn in a dangerous game, Deke makes a decision.

When he does, he has no idea he’s just opened himself up to bounty.

4 Gypsy Stars on Goodreads Read from May 05 to 13, 2016

I hadn’t read a KA book in awhile and starting this book brought my love of her book back to me. I loved the story and Justice and Deke were just so made for each other. I loved catching up with all the mountain men and their women especially Tate and Chace!

One thing about Ka books that annoys me a little is her tendency to drag on with certain scenes that don’t need it. It made certain parts for me boring.

I was disappointed with the final chapter as well. I would of liked more from Juctice and Deke after everything that had happened, I felt that I missed out on that part of their relationship.

Then her brother steals from the club. Marie can save him by giving Horse what he wants—at home, in public, on his bike… If she’s a very, very good girl, she’ll get lots more of those orgasms only he can offer, and he’ll let her brother live.

Note: Sugar Daddy ends on a cliffhanger. Sela and Beck’s story continues in Sugar Rush and Sugar Free

3.5 Not as sugary stars as you would think on goodreads Read March 15 – 24th, 2016

I had great hope for this book. I have read Sawyer Bennett’s Cold Fury Hockey series and had enjoyed them but they weren’t on my 5 star lists. But when I read the blurb for this book I said to myself “Christ this sounds deadly!” But alas it wasn’t as great as I thought it would be and was a little disappointing in areas. The best part of the book was the last 25% where I could not put it down. Also just to warn you all it ends in a big cliffhanger! This and this alone, has me really looking forward to the second book in the series.
